Ray Collins feels more in his element in salt water with his camera than anywhere on earth when he captures the fleeting moments of a wave's journey until it disappears. The ephemeral encounter between water and light is a driving force that gives him the energy to get out of bed in the dark every morning to celebrate the sun rising over the sea. He bought his first camera in 2007 for photographing his friends surfing around the house and very quickly companies like Apple, Nikon, United Airlines, National Geographic among others used his unique signature seascapes for their international campaigns. Crowned with international prizes from the world of professional photography and surfing, widely published in the specialised press. Ray's work has enjoyed enormous success and its international recognition has led to his seascapes being exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the United States, Europe and Australia.
