Bex Parkin is a UK based artist and illustrator. Passionate about art and design from an early age, she studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins after graduating in art history. Bex has held various positions in the London art world, including at the Royal Academy and the Medici Society, but it was her research of antique and vintage textiles for major fashion houses that sparked her love of pattern and colour. Her favorite mediums are traditional gouache, coloured pencil and pencil. Illustrations of colourful wildlife and plants often with a vibrant colour palette and playful detail characterise her work. Bex has a brain that never stops coming up with new ideas. She sees inspiration everywhere. Prolific, fast and very professional. The busier she is, the better she works.
